are hundreds of invitation shops and studios who claim they
do “custom work”. Usually their idea of custom
work means that you have to pick you color and design from
a list of pre-made invitations. They merely print your information
on the card and leave you hoping no one else has chosen the
invitation colors and fonts that you have.
That is NOT custom design.
Differently
Designed’s work is truly custom.
The
ideas, designs, and samples are built from scratch based on
the details
(colors, themes, locations, favorites, arrangements, etc.)
from one-on-one discussions with you.
I work closely with you to make sure that your vision is in
the final result.

Creation Process
Talking
about the details of your wedding is the 1st step. Is it going
to be casual, formal, traditional, or themed? What colors
excite or interest you? Where is the wedding? The reception?
There is absolutely no charge for this meeting.
Then,
there is a $200 deposit needed to proceed. Based on our conversation(s),
I will craft up to 3 intriguing design ideas for you to review
and evaluate.
The
next step is to discuss the designs, wording, prices, and
(if needed) adjustments. Up to 2 rounds of revisions can be
done for you if needed.
If you change your mind on the design options or make extensive
revisions after the original 2 revisions, a fifty-dollar per
hour design fee may apply.
Once
all revisions have been made and all the design work and wording
has gotten your seal-of-approval, the remaining balance will
be due in full (for the purchasing of materials and creation
time). No jobs can be completed until the proofs are approved
and payment is received.
Please
allow 2 to 3 weeks to complete your order from the seal-of-approval
time. I will always wait until payment is received and we
both verify that all proofs are precisely what you want, before
beginning full production.
